Full name of this tea is Yunnan Hong Cha - Red Tea from Yunnan. Yunnan is a region, that is mainly known for its Pu-erh tea and red tea production is fairly new to this region, it has only started in the 1950s. However, since then there are dozens of red teas popped up from this region. To be honest, most of the red teas from Yunnan have a good and bright taste, but most of them lack deepness and complexity in taste. There are some minor exceptions to this rule, like Jin Si Dian Hong and Song Zheng Dian Hong. But for the most part, Dian Hong teas are better suited for everyday drink, not for a special occasion.

Nevertheless, I personally drink Dian Hong teas almost every day, because they are a perfect companion when you want something, that tastes good and doesn't require lengthy and complex preparations. They are also very forgiving to preparation mistakes. Whatever you do, as long as the water is hot - the tea is going to taste good. It's going to have slightly smoky taste, roundness due to the amount of fur on the leaves and slightly chocolatey flavour.
